Shipments are generally scheduled to leave within a few days of clearing payment. Shipments are booked 24 hours before departure and you are immediately notified of arrival times.

Shipments are usually scheduled no more than twice per week. We prefer not to do any shipping on the weekends due to limited flight availability although exceptions may apply.

When possible, shipments leave early in the morning and arrive late afternoon or early evening depending on the destination. Certain destinations can sometimes have very early or very late arrivals.

Preferred airlines for shipping are Delta and Continental. Shipping charges vary by airline and range from $110 to $200 (or higher for extra large shipments) depending on the size of the package, plus the cost of the carrier which varies on the size of bird being shipped.

Several pairs can be shipped without increased cost since the airlines look at the size of the package and not the number of birds shipped.

We ship in commercial pet taxis and provide nutritional, moist foods for the journey.
